Peace Train: 'Abdu'l-Bahá's Journey to Canada

The Hamilton Baha’is hosted and celebrated with an event on Sunday, September 9th, called “Peace Train”. Specially conceived and produced by Mary Darling and Clark Donnelly, the executive producers of Little Mosque on the Prairie, the program highlighted local children and youth. It featured the Chamber Choir from the Hamilton Children’s Choir, local mezzo soprano Margaret Bardos, singer/songwriter Adam Crossley, spoken word artists Nabil and Karim as well as musician Asher Lenz. The program’s emphasis was on the relevance of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s message to today and on the importance of youth as often over-looked champions of social change.
Peace Train was held on Sunday Sept 9th, 2012, to an audience of over 800 people - a standing-room-only house at Liuna Station in Hamilton.
